The shadow beings

Reading A Strange Story by Edward Bulwer-Lytton (available for free online), my knowledge of psychopaths was confirmed and enlarged. In the novel, the being who sold his soul had a shadow side that would appear to people without the being’s knowledge. I’ve seen this shadow side of a psychopath of which he wasn’t aware of either; you could call it a ghost – it’s like a psychopath’s double, as it looks exactly like its host.

As psychopaths are beings totally sold out to the dark side, the soul is almost inaccessible. I think the reason they have doubles is because the dark side is fed with their energy so much that it becomes like an apparition. Like you get holy people being overshadowed by the beings of light, so are psychopaths overshadowed by their own created beings of darkness.

As the psychopath’s soul is removed from its rightful place, the body becomes a vehicle to dark forces. Their job is to erode the core of Light in other beings, because this core of truth is the fortress of the soul. Once it’s eroded, all the clarity is gone, and one becomes blind to the right path.

Attempts to make you blind

It’s not only psychopaths that do it. Through many people dark forces work to get human beings off the path of Light; that happens especially when a human being finds the right path, because that’s the biggest threat to such forces. They know that even one human being walking the right path will awaken multitudes, so the forces focus on him or her, tempting them in a myriad of ways, so that the Light is lost.

This battle is always taking place, though many are blind to it. Usually people aren’t listening to their conscience, so they’re blind to the Truth, and so no spiritual phenomena are perceived. But those who walk the path of truth see this battle clearly.

The reason plenty of temptations present themselves for beings walking the path of purity and truth, is because as soon as they step away from the truth, no matter how slightly, the way is lost. That is very important to understand – not even a slight untruth is tolerable if you want to see how things really are.

The mainstream media and its contents usually try to erode the core of truth. Once you’re seduced by anything not of purity and Light, you become unable to perceive the truth. ACIM Urtext says this clearly:

Brothers, take not one step in the descent to hell. For HAVING taken one, you will NOT RECOGNIZE the rest for what they are. And they WILL follow.

Never allow this fortress of soul to be assaulted. Always hold tight to the truth, no matter what perceived temptation or fear faces you. The truth is your ultimate security – depart from it, and you shut your ears to the guiding voice of the Divine.

The most valuable thing in the world

Each human being can freely choose darkness or light, but there’s no escape from the effects of choices made. Many people, because of self-deception or fear for security, shut their eyes to the truth, and choose falsity instead. Such beings shut the door to the higher world, as only pure ones can see God. Like Jesus said:

Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

The more your spiritual eye is opened, the stronger the core of truth within you shines, which makes it easy to stick to it. This sticking to the truth makes you an ultimate winner, because it protects your purity.

Purity is all you have of value in this world. Lose it, and the illusion of the world will become real, and the darkness will seem real too. Keep it, and you’ll understand that the threatening manifestations of darkness can only last for a short while, since the Light of your inner purity must shine it away.

Never fear seemingly negative circumstances which threaten to ruin you if you choose the truth. Truth alone is real; error is nothing. So when you choose the truth, error must soon disappear.

All fears are based on error; if you’re guided by the truth only, if you always stick to it, it will assure your inner clarity which will easily find solutions to any problems that you face.

Strengthen your inner core

The more you stick to the truth, the more unreal all the manifestations of darkness become. I have some understanding of how Jesus perceived dying for truth – as nothing, since death is of the world, and the world is only an illusion. Only truth is real. Though to an ego it’s an utter terror to be going through the destruction of the body, when one is rooted in truth, not even body destruction touches him or her, and this is the ultimate victory over the world.

The world is in dire need of beings with strong cores, as it’s drowning in fears and lies. People are afraid of money shortage, competitive environment, diseases of all sorts, loneliness, and so on. Having these idols in front of them, they quickly forget their Divine Origin and fall to become slaves to the choices that go against their conscience.

If you stand for truth and refuse to turn away from it because of some fear-based threat, this high vibration will become stable and this in itself will protect you from the woes of the world. Your aura will become supercharged with pure energy, and your magnetism will increase immensely, creating a gravity field around you.

If your spiritual core is weak, strengthen it by adhering to the truth in small things first. For example, don’t allow others to make you small; if someone tries to argue with you or insult you, keep your calm attitude, be polite, and never go down to their level. This is a beautiful way to remain faithful to who you are – a being of Divine Origin.

If you stick to your inner truth in small ways first, your core will strengthen and soon you’ll be able to stand up for greater manifestations of unfairness. That doesn’t mean I encourage you to take up banners and protest against this or that, however. What I encourage you to do is to hold fast to the truth when you’re presented with a choice of darkness, or when something or someone tries to scare you about being truthful, or provoke you to behave in a way that’s alien to your true being.

Your spiritual core cannot grow strong if you turn your back on truth everytime a seemingly fearful event or thing presents itself. And strengthen the core you must, if you want to have a stable, which means devoid of unexpected troubles, life.

Lastly…

The greatest blessing of your strong core is not your trouble-free life, though, but the example that you set to other people. Instead of letting the world dictate how you behave, you allow your inner purity to decide which choices are right for you. And when other people see such a behavior, they can understand how noble it is in comparison with belittling yourself in behavior or selling your soul to the dark side because of fear.

People will be inspired to never again belittle themselves in their choices if you show that fears and other seeming manifestations of darkness disappear into thin air when you stick to the inner core of truth. Can you imagine the gratitude that will naturally flow to you from all these liberated beings? You’ll be blessed by so many that your karmas will melt like they never were, and you’ll soon be called blessed, since your life will become easy and happy.

Never think that there are certain situations in life where you cannot choose the truth. Stick to the truth always, and this will be your best protection against life’s troubles.

If you’re not used to doing this, it may be hard at first to always stick to the purity within, so start from small things first. This will soon strengthen your inner core, and you’ll never again sway from the only thing that’s real in this world – the Truth.
